LyOsun is a one-man band. Raphaël Litzistorf's electro-melodic project. The Genevan musician's instruments include guitar, keyboard, sax, pad and his smoky voice. Inspired by the new generation of ‘Techno-melodic’ composers such as Monolink, Thylacine, Fakear and Ben Böhmer, he decided to stay active during the health crisis by composing a new, more rhythmic set, fuller and more danceable. LyOsun's electro, with its hints of ethnic inspiration, is an invitation to thrills and spills. Deep and poignant on record, the tracks are feverish and dynamic on stage. Since the release of its first track in 2022, LyOsun has come a long way, from big-name festivals (Montreux Jazz, Caribana, etc.) to hit singles. and hit singles. Her debut EP, A Room With A View, will be available on 30 May 2024. The opus was largely composed upstairs in the family home, overlooking the vineyards and mountains of Geneva. That already paints the picture. With organic sounds and a very melodic approach, the producer subtly mixes styles for a cocktail of Afro-house, Melodic-house and Melodic-techno that will take you on a journey inside. Above all, this EP is the fruit of a collaboration between several artists from here and abroad. It features Sofiya Nzau, the Kenyan singer of the moment (Zerb, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar).
